It all began over 20 years ago with bead embroidering belly dance and Samba costumes. Little did I know that this passion would evolve into a full-fledged jewellery-making career. After many years of creating and selling handmade jewellery, life took an unexpected and dark turn. I found myself in a very abusive situation. Despite the turmoil, I continued to make jewellery, but selling it was no longer possible. I thought I had given up on my dream.
However, fate had other plans. Recently, I started receiving numerous inquiries from women admiring my jewellery and wanting to know where they could find such unique pieces. Encouraged by their interest and support, I decided to give my jewellery business another try—this time, for the fourth time.
Here I am, once again, pouring my heart and soul into creating beautiful, handcrafted jewellery. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, far beyond what I could have imagined. It turns out that my jewellery not only appeals aesthetically but also resonates deeply with other women, inspiring them in their own lives.
This journey has taught me the true meaning of resilience and the power of creativity. My jewellery line is more than just an expression of art; it’s a symbol of strength, hope, and the ability to rise above adversity. Through my work, I aim to empower women, reminding them of their inner strength and potential.
I am here today because of the incredible women who have supported and inspired me throughout my journey. My jewellery exists today because of the love and admiration I hold for other women.
In addition to creating beautiful pieces, I am passionate about sharing the art of jewellery making. I offer beginner jewellery making workshops for women's refuges and various organisations, as well as for private groups in West Yorkshire and the North East of England, including Teesside and surrounding areas.
If you are interested in learning more or would like to join a workshop, please feel free to send me a message. Together, we can create something beautiful and empowering.
